Seven people came to a Get-Together with the artists Wallace Heim and Rachel Jacobs and The Future Machine in early October.
Each person had been invited to spend time with a watery place, that they have an affinity with, on their own, once, maybe twice, to consider these waters, this place and the environmental future.
We met and shared stories of our experiences by the waters. It was a day of heavy rain, fitting with our theme.
We walked down the road and path that leads to the green bridge and stood on the bridge watching the waters of the Winderemere-River Leven on the journey to the sea. We returned for food, conversation and speaking to the future through the Future Machine.
