Future Machine appeared in Peppard on the Spring Equinox, wayfaring around the village lanes, to the common and the church and meeting the primary school children and teachers as they left to go home.
On Sunday 20th April people came together at Peppard Pavilion to celebrate the spring equinox, meet Future Machine, speak to the future, hear messages from the past and news from the planet, listen to Peppard’s music of the weather and soundscapes created by Juliet Robson, inspired by the parish. Lots of people came throughout the afternoon, there was tea and homemade rhubarb cake, damson gin and celandine biscuits.
At the end of the afternoon Future Machine, Rachel and Juliet and some of Peppards Guardian’s of the Future Machine (and a visiting guardian from Nottingham) went to the Unicorn Pub and sat outside, people spoke to the future at the pub as the sun went down on the village.
